HSE POLICY STATEMENT:


It's our policy to provide and maintain a safe working environment for our employees which is our utmost priority and safety equipment must be provided before any job is carried out. DOXA GLOBAL LOGISTICS LIMITED staff are medically fit. We maintain an insurance against any liability that may result in case of any personnel suffering occupational disease or any impairment to health resulting from our operations. the companies retained clinic shall handle all routine medical and emergency cases. As an essential part of the overall company's management, DOXA GLOBAL LOGISTICS LIMITED takes responsibility of all personnel, client representative and third party in all our work sites and premises. In carrying out the operations, we shall plan and execute it in such a manner as to eliminate adverse effects or impact on the environment. Our operations shall be essential environmentally friendly. DOXA GLOBAL LOGISTICS LIMITED, shall identify with the needs and aspirations of her clients and host communities in the execution of its operation. We shall liaise with the host communities relevant government departments and others to ensure safe and peaceful working environment. Harmonious relationship shall be maintained with client and community. when there are conflicts, peaceful dialogue shall be employed to resolve areas of disagreement.

    QUALITY POLICY:


    The management of DOXA GLOBAL LOGISTICS LIMITED is totally committed to the following Quality policy and objectives.
    I. To achieve a quality service by meeting customers' requirements. To define and document the quality system for all functions of the company to comply with the requirements of ISO 9001 latest edition.
    II. To develop and use qualified personnel, trained with the necessary skills and experience to perform their duties.
    III. To perform in accordance with the documented Quality system with the aim of developing all products and services correctly the first time.
    IV To ensure that services and products provided by DOXA GLOBAL LOGISTICS LIMITED are in accordance with the contract safety and legislative requirement.
    V. To ensure that quality activities are specified to suppliers to maintain the overall level of quality of the project.
    VI. To continually evaluate the quality systems suitability and monitor is operation to improve its effectiveness.

DRUGS & ALCOHOL POLICY:


Drugs taken without trained first aider's prescription amounts to abuse. Therefore, on no account shall drugs be taken without the consent of a trained first aider. Drinking, storage and use of alcohol within perimeter of our site is prohibited. To this end, the management will discipline appropriately employees and contractor staff who fluent the stipulations of this policy.

SEAT BELT POLICY


All company vehicles are fitted with functional seat belts. Occupants of moving vehicles must wear seat belts. A vehicle which does not meet with the above requirement, is not given access into our premises.

ACCESS CONTROL POLICY


Access to restricted area is on permission basis. All visitors, authorized personnel or representatives of client, are expected to sign in and out in the corresponding register provided. Visitors to site shall be briefed on behavior on site, clothed with appropriate PPE and shall be escorted by safety officer, as condition for admittance. Movement of materials in and out of site shall be documented in the material received, materials issued vouchers.

CONSTRUCTION WORKS MANAGEMENT POLICY


Work sites shall be kept tidy, all materials to be used on site will be well stored in a safe and secure place free from inclement weather. Warning sign will be well placed whenever work is in progress for safety reasons. All safety measures as regard the civil job onsite will properly take into consideration otherwise the job will be suspended till those measures are put in place.

    COMMUNITY AFFAIRS POLICY


    Our operation as a company is to touch the lives of those around us therefore, for a mutual understanding and cooperation existence among the host community (ies) in which we carry our business.
    DOXA GLOBAL LOGISTICS LIMITED shall:
    I. Identify with host community where and when necessary.
    II. Maintain and open communication system with host community.
    III. follow established client/government policy on community affairs.
    IV. Ensure that dialogue remains prerequisite for problem solving.
    V. follow established guidelines on community relations.

LABOUR RELATION POLICY


DOXA GLOBAL LOGISTICS LIMITED lay emphasis on recruitment of capable and qualified personnel. In recruitment, the company considers the Federal Government policy on employment of local personnel. The company liaises with the host community e.g., Traditional chief, Youth Organization employment committee of various communities under our area of operation to submit names of able and capable hands for employment. The company liaises with Local Government employment bureaus, Sate Government and other consultancy firms for the purpose of employment. The company for the purpose of employment publicized and conduct interviews that may involve written and oral interviews. The company has a policy to conduct medical examination before employment.

WAGE POLICY


Decision having to do with wage policy and practice are important. The wage level in relation to productivity determined the profit margin and hence, the competitive position of the company. wage matters are also basic to the employers - employees relationship. Whether the employment contracts is signed as a step in collective bargaining or understood informally in individual dealing, wages constitute a major portion of that contract.

STAFF TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT POLICY


DOXA GLOBAL LOGISTICS LIMITED lay emphasis in the training of it staff. In this regard, company undertaken training of personnel through notable seminars and also on the job. The company utilizes consultancy firms, and various professional associations abroad for the training and retraining of staff annually. The company utilizes the systems approach to training of key personnel and technical staff. The company shall on the job technique give staff a clear idea of their path of development. The company will from time to time appraise staff training schemes to meet up with the dynamic situation of the economy.

QUALITY ASSURANCE


This quality assurance manual provides a guide to the management and methods that have been implemented within DOXA GLOBAL LOGISTICS LIMITED, management services and its subsidiaries. It has been designed for the information of all personnel within the company. This manual is a statement of policy related to quality, to enable the company meet its object of conformance to the requirements of BS5720. It is a major company objective to strive for excellence in all areas of its business and this manual details means by which this is to achieve. Throughout this manual, reference are made to other procedures, which are listed in appendix A, these give more detailed information of specific aspect of the company's operation. Such procedures are restricted to distribution within the company and shall not be issued to any outside organization without the authorization of the Chairman. This manual and all the information contained within, remains the property of the company and it, or extracts from it, may not be passed onto other companies organizations as persons without the permission of the CHAIRMAN/CEO adherence to these procedures in mandatory and modification and changes can only be effected through the quality management representative.

BASIS OF THE QUALITY ASSURANCE MANUAL


This quality management manual is based upon international Quality Assurance Standard and established in house practices. The manual shall be reviewed and revised to account for amendments to the quality system and work practices as when required, but as a minimum shall be reviewed every year.

DOXA GLOBAL LOGISTICS LIMITED , specializes in design, project management, commissioning of civil and engineering construction work, oil and gas services, import and export of goods and services, dredging and reclamation, environmentalism, logistics and agro allied services, general contract and supply chain, man power supply and labor contractor, maintenance, repair and operations . The objective of our company is to provide these services in a manner which conforms to the clients and requirement, using qualified, trained and experienced personnel. In other to achieve this objective, it is the companies policy, to establish and maintain an effective and efficient quality system planned and developed in conjunction with other management functions. The quality system shall comply with international standards. The assessment of conformity of work to contract and regulatory requirement is made on the basis of objective evidence of quality.

This document describes how the quality of DOXA GLOBAL LOGISTICS LIMITED is designed to ensure that all requirement relating to quality are recognized and that a consistent and uniform control of this requirement is adequately maintained and how effective control is established.

CORPORATE POLICY STATEMENT ON HEALTH, SAFETY, ENVIRONMENT , SECURITY & WORK.

DOXA GLOBAL LOGISTICS LIMITED is involved in electrical, civil and mechanical engineering works, maintenance of office equipment, supply of oil tools, electrical parts, labor, household goods and general oil field services, environmentalism, logistics and transportation, haulage, supply chain, dredging and reclamation services.
The management is no doubt aware of the hazardous nature of our jobs. In execution of such phase of work, our objective is to operate in safe and economic manners. It is our policy to carry out our operations in such a manner that the health, safety, environment, and security of our employees as well as others who may be affected are safe - guarded.
in this regard, all relevant government legislation on health, safety and environment matters as well as our client, rules and regulations shall strictly be observed. In order to achieve these goals, DOXA GLOBAL LOGISTICS LIMITED management shall continue to accept both its legal and moral obligations towards its workforce by creating a safe, secured and healthy working environment, well defined accident prevention measures and training for all employees.14 the company shall do everything within its reach to minimize the impact on the environment in which all its operations of life and property of the neighboring community in which it operates.
The company strongly believes that health, safety, environment and security targets must be given equal priorities as well financial targets. To this end, HSES policy must be integrated into all the companies daily activities especially during job planning and execution by every DOXA GLOBAL LOGISTICS LIMITED employee. Every employee is expected to report unsafe condition to their supervisor and suspend unhealthy and dangerous operation until safe work system is ensured. it will be the duty of every employee to take reasonable care of health and safety of himself, his fellow employees and other persons who may be affected by his action at work.
All employees should be aware that HSES is a line management responsibility, hence part of our commitment shall therefore be to provide a good environment for enhanced HSES.
HSES management system of operation is to maintain a safe system work, training and competent supervision.
It is mandatory for line management and supervisors to ensure that all personnel are aware of and able to adhere to company safety rules and regulations.
Disciplinary measures against offenders shall be more than over enforced, irrespective of status.
Finally, management is aware that no matter how well written a policy is, its success and implementation lies on everyone to achieve the stated goals.
